About Us

North Stars Gymnastics Academy is a reputable National Gymnastics Training Center that attracts and serves aspiring athletes from throughout Tri-State region.

From recreational programs to its various competitive leagues, North Stars also boasts a long-standing successful Level 10 and Elite program with athletes contending for spots nationally, in the NCAA, and in the upcoming Olympic Games.

It also has strong strategic partnerships with professional affiliates that deliver mental health support and wellness coaching, choreography and original music compilations, sports doctors and an in-house injury prevention and rehabilitation team, available to all of its athletes.

North Stars is a surefire place for every striving gymnast.

Brief History

History - 50th Anniversary

For more than 50 years,North Stars has been placing children to the National and International levels.

We have had medalists in USA Championships, Goodwill Games, Pan American Games, and Pacific Alliance Championships as well as competitions in France, S. Korea, England, Russia, Bulgaria, Colombia, US Olympic Trials, and more.

We pride ourselves on our ability to help more than 100+ North Stars build the skills to secure college scholarships.

Why North Stars?

We provide children an introduction to fitness and exercise while helping to build self-esteem, resilience and proper gymnastics form and precise skills.

Each child participates in a variety of physical activity including swinging, jumping, rolling, finding a center, and balancing that creates a base for fitness, developing core strength, body awareness and safety.

The seasoned North Stars coaching team is dedicated to providing sound training by stressing safety and offering positive reinforcement in the learning process.

• Safety: All coaches and teachers are gymnastics safety certified and have undergone full background checks.

• Opportunity: More than 100 high-level gymnasts have received college athletic scholarships and/or entrance into Ivy League universities.

• International Appeal: Some national league gymnasts have competed in the Olympic Trials and Pan-American Games, and recently competed at the World Gymnastics Championship in Liverpool, England in 2022.

• Prestige: North Stars is the most accomplished competitive gymnastics program in New Jersey. Awarded Junior Olympic Optional Club of the Year 2011 through 2017; USAG National Club of the Year in 2015. New Jersey State champions 2019,2021, and 2022.
