North Stars Gymnastics is home to 91 National Team members (including 41 State Champions in 2016), 8 National Champions (2016), 31 Xcel gymnasts, and 90+ NCAA College Scholarship recipients, and counting. Tony Gehman has been named International Coach of the Year 1991 and National Coach of the Year 2008. Head Coach Ashley Umberger continues the North Stars legacy, maintaining our place as the top team in NJ state and one of the most recruited gyms in the nation.
North Stars is one of the largest gymnastics academies in Northern New Jersey, and the current 2023 #1 gym in NJ State. In previous years we have been named 2014 State, Regional & National Club of the Year, and 2015 and 2016 USAG JO Optional Club of the Year. Our facility offers one of the most successful gymnastics programs, including the teams competing in the USAG programs below.
